Is there a fee to join?
Joining the community is completely free. Most events are free too. A handful of events (like hikes or dinners where we have to pay for the venue or transport) have a small cost, you'll always see the price before you book.
I'm shy, will I feel out of place?
Most people who come to our events describe themselves as introverts. Our whole philosophy is built around making it easy for quieter people to feel comfortable. You don't need to be the loudest in the room. You just need to be yourself.
I don't live in London, can I still join?
Absolutely. Most current events are in and around London, but we're slowly expanding. Join the list, tell us where you're based, and we'll let you know the moment we have something near you.
Who is Here4U for?
Adults in the UK who want to make real friendships. That's it. We welcome all ages, backgrounds, races, genders, sexualities, faiths, neurotypes and abilities. Kindness is our only entry requirement.
What if I sign up for an event and can't make it?
Just let us know as early as you can so we can offer your spot to someone else. No judgement, no explanations needed.
Is Here4U safe?
Your safety is our priority. Every member agrees to our Code of Conduct before joining an event. Harassment, bigotry and unkind behaviour have no place in this community, and we act quickly if anything is reported. If you ever feel unsafe at an event, please tell a host or email here4ucommunity@gmail.com straight away.
